About
Who We Are
Healing Homes West was founded in summer 2024 by three West London mothers: Leeanne Sully, Laura Godsal, and Kate Haynes. With diverse backgrounds in Social Work, Interior Styling, and PR, we bring complementary skills to our mission.
Our organization transforms living spaces—single rooms or entire homes—at no cost for West London families living in uninhabitable conditions without the means to improve their situation. We focus on single-parent households facing significant challenges including poor home environments, neglect, inadequate hygiene, and furniture poverty—issues that directly impact children's safety, health, and well-being. We're especially committed to supporting families with children who have additional needs and would benefit from sensory-optimized environments for their development.
Currently, we receive referrals from Children's and Young People's Service and the Child Protection and Family Support Service. We're now expanding to work with families connected to Early Help preventative services.

Our Approach
Our underlying principle at Healing Homes West is that everyone can make positive and sustainable change, if given the tools to do so.
Families need to live in safe and comfortable home environments before healing can take place. We think that when parents and caregivers are empowered to take control of their lives, when they feel cared for and valued they will be better able to meet their children’s needs and feel more connected in the community and support others in turn.
Using a trauma-informed, respectful approach, we work closely with families to create safe, sustainable spaces where they can heal and thrive. No judgment - just practical help, compassion, and respect.
We focus on single parent families but aim to support as many as possible where housing quality is the main obstacle to a child’s wellbeing.
Our Mission
Every child deserves a safe and supportive home. By improving living conditions, we believe we can change lives, support families recover from trauma, and create a positive ripple effect for families and the community.
For families who’ve endured multiple disadvantages and trauma, poor housing compounds challenges and limits opportunities. Healing Homes West fills this critical gap, providing practical support and emotional encouragement so families can overcome these barriers and rebuild their lives.
At Healing Homes, community, sustainability, and care for the environment are at the heart of everything we do. By coming together, we help create healthy, supportive living spaces while working to reduce waste and promote a greener future. We upcycle, recycle, and reuse furniture and homewares sourced from photoshoots, ex-displays, returns, and generous donations from individuals and the interiors industry—diverting them from landfill and giving them a new purpose.
Through these efforts, we create nurturing, sensory-supportive homes for women and children in need. Our work not only transforms lives but also contributes to a circular economy, helping to reduce environmental impact and inspire individuals and companies to be more mindful.
